Winterisation
Looking after your pool all year round is essential to ensure it is kept in good condition. Fowler Swimming Pools Service Team are able to offer a complete winterisation service for your pool.
SCHEDULE FOR WINTERISATION OF POOLS
- Option for tick-over & setting frost stat timers 2am-6am
- Turn off main boiler or heat pump and switch for pool equipment and electric supply for pool plant
- Lower the swimming pool water 8-10" below skimmers
- Wash down & wrap with HD Polythene domestic bubble covers
- Check & adjust pH. levels
- Winter dose swimming pool with winter chemical pack consisting of 1 x 5kg stabilised
chlorine & 1 x 5lt long life algaecide if requested – additional charge for pack applies - Drain all filters, pumps, boiler and connecting pipe work and report any defects
- Remove pool side equipment i.e. ladders
- Fit winter debris cover and place anti-frost drums in pool
- Report any equipment that needs repairing or replacing ready for the new season
