About the Fowler Group
The Fowler Group was established in Cowfold, West Sussex over 150 years ago by Stephen Fowler. The company has at various times operated as wheelwrights, blacksmiths, funeral directors, hauliers and glassfibre fabricators.
Since the Second World War The Fowler Group has concentrated on its core activities of building and construction, adding swimming pool construction in 1958.
Separate companies were created within The Fowler Group between 1998/99 resulting in the formation of:
Fowler Building Contractors Ltd
Fowler Swimming Pools Ltd
Fowler Bros. (Whyteleafe) Ltd
The restructuring allowed each company to focus on its own objectives and marketplaces. This has resulted in an ever-increasing client portfolio and a continuing reputation for high quality craftsmanship and service.
Remarkably for such an old established company, members of the Fowler family are still actively involved in its day-to-day management, a fact the present Chairman, John Fowler, is justifiably proud of.
